Large Gracious Victorian Farmhouse 1 mile from Bennington College lovingly restored to accommodate nine guests in a quaint relaxed convenient atmosphere. Fully restored farmhouse with all new mattresses, bedding and ample amenities to make your stay an enjoyable and memorable experience. Within a short drive you will find other colleges, museums ski areas and attractions. Tour our beautiful maple syrup countryside and sites that keep people coming back to our beautiful state of Vermont. The space A great large 5 bedroom house with one located downstairs next to the bath. The other four are upstairs. There are two complete baths in the house. All the bedrooms have a luggage rack which may be found in the closets. In the summer, there are three air conditioners which adequately cool the house for your comfort. The two parlor wood stoves (one in the dining room and one in the laundry room) are for ornamental purposes only and are not to be used as they are not hooked up. There is a gas fireplace in the parlor for those cold days and nights which will be turned on in the fall. The TV in the parlor has an Amazon Fire Stick for your convenience. Please do not order any movies or order any subscriptions to channels. Some DVD's and VHS's can be found in the table by the window. There are games in the bookcase in the dining room along with some toys for the little ones in the deacons bench in the hallway. If you should require a highchair or a pack-n-play, please let me know ahead of time. The gas grill is located on the side porch for you to use. There is a very comfortable sitting area on the front porch which is great for conversation and fellowship. Guest access You may have access to the house, porches and lawn area. If you need anything, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you. PLEASE NOTE: Do NOT attempt to fit the kitchen table thru the kitchen door as it WILL NOT FIT and will only scratch the table and walls. There are some cabinets in the laundry room that contain our personal belongings, please be respectful and do not use these things. There are ample supplies, dishes, pans, etc. for your use to have a wonderful stay. Other things to note The barn in the back of the house is for guests also so if you have an extended family needing more room, please check for availability as it is on Airbnb also.
