“The Grey Haven” – Secluded home in the woods

Enjoy an experience nestled amongst the trees where you can relax and feel at peace in the woods. Our home has been recently remodeled with modern appliances, cookware, furniture, premium bedding, and new linens. It has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with a private deck for enjoying the trees in the backyard. You will feel like you have the forest to yourself. The space The first floor has an open living and dining area with gas fireplace and smart TV with streaming apps, modern kitchen with ample dishes and cookware, spacious deck, as well as a bedroom with queen bed, bathroom with step-in shower, and a laundry room with large washer and dryer. The second floor has three bedrooms, a master with king bed and private bathroom, a second bedroom with a queen and twin bed plus trundle, a third bedroom with a twin bed plus trundle, and an additional full bathroom with shower and tub. Both trundle beds can be easily moved between rooms for flexible sleeping arrangements. We've upgraded the home with a dual zone heating and air conditioning system so you'll be comfortable any time of year, both upstairs and downstairs. In summer, be sure to enjoy all that Lake Arrowhead has to offer, including shops and restaurants at Lake Arrowhead Village, and other lake activities. In winter, the Snow Valley Mountain Resort provides winter fun for the entire family, only 13 miles from this rental. Note that snow chains may be required during the winter season, so please come prepared (real-time information on chain requirements can be found on the Caltrans website). While the property is situated on a maintained road, the mountain conditions can be difficult to maneuver. We have a service scheduled to shovel when it snows, but if the weather is particularly bad they might be unable to get to the house in a timely fashion, so you should be prepare to shovel yourself if needed. We have equipment to do so on-site. Additionally, during the winter months the deck furniture, fire table, and grill are put away and unavailable for use because inclement weather can cause both damage and a safety hazard. Items to note before reserving: * We are committed to Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol; our home is professionally cleaned between every stay. * Access will be provided via personalized keycode that will activate before check-in and deactivated at check-out. * Free WiFi is available throughout the house. The password is located on the information sheet inside. * This property is ideal for 1-2 families, and comfortably sleeps 8 people. This is not a party house, and quiet hours (10pm-9am) are expected to be maintained while on the property. * The property has a maximum of 2 parking spots on site, and street parking is prohibited by local regulations. Parking restrictions are strictly enforced, so please plan carefully. * This property may not be suitable for travelers with mobility impairments as it is only accessible by a flight of stairs. * This is a smoke-free and pet-free property. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in an additional cleaning fee. * This property features exterior security cameras at the front door, side door, and parking areas. Video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in case of break-ins, animal activity, and to help us maintain maximum occupancy and a pet-free property. Security cameras do not look into interior spaces. Guest access The property provides secure, keyless entry with an August Smart Lock. You can lock and unlock the door with your smartphone, using a unique virtual key, or personal entry code issued to you for the duration of your stay.
