You can enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch overlooking the red rocks of the Frying Pan River, or you can make the 1 minute walk across the street to enjoy some time on the river. Our guests also gain access to fish our private 3/4 mile of the famous Frying Pan. The cabin has one queen size bed with an upgraded 12-inch memory foam, Molecule Mattress in the bedroom and a trundle bed (2 twin beds) in the living room, and is great for solo adventurers, couples looking for a romantic get-a-way, or small families. If you are traveling with friends or family members, there are two other cabins in the row at Dodge City that are available for rent as well. Because of our convenient location to downtown Basalt, there is occasional road noise during the day from Frying Pan Road, which runs in front of the cabin. *We do NOT have Wifi*. Guests love waking up to the sounds of the river, and they also enjoy the views. We do have cell phone reception at the cabins because we aren't too far from town (Verizon works the best). Unfortunately, there is no internet, but it is a good excuse to disconnect and enjoy the scenery. If this cabin doesn't meet your needs, please inquire about other cabins we have on-site.
