Second Wind, a Rustically Elegant Gathering Place

Second Wind operates all year as a Country Inn. We now market our inn to larger groups wanting to enjoy reunions and gatherings for special occasions or for holiday celebrations. This listing on Airbnb offers 3 of our 4 suites for your group, up to 14 people. If your group is larger than 14, please contact us to see if the fourth suite is available in order for us to accommodate a larger group. That is often possible, and guest count can be raised to accommodate 24 guests. Ask for a quote! The space Our home is called Second Wind and we host many family gatherings and reunion but not weddings. Plan your wedding here in the northwoods and we are happy to host your family or guests... just not your special ceremony. There are several such places just miles from us. Guest access We are the perfect space for you and your friends or family to gather. We are located in rural Ashland. This space operates as a country inn and in this Airbnb listing we offer 3 or our 4 suites, one which so big (1100 square feet with two bedrooms and a kitchenette). Plus you are welcome to enjoy "The Gathering Room" (our lounge), our tranquil big front porch, a large deck with grill, a fun front yard (to play Bocce or disc golf), fire pit, delightful farm animals (donkeys, horses, cows, chickens, our Airedale Oliver and our cat Sassy) and 40 plus country acres to roam. And should you need extra room for beyond 14, we may have openings in an additional suite or our guest house located on the same 40 acres. Other things to note Our property is totally non-smoking. The only place to smoke is at the end of our quarter mile long driveway. Alcohol must be consumed in moderation, we are not interested in hosting a drunkin brawl. We also feel it is important to communicate with you that we have WIFI but we DO NOT have television here at Second Wind.
