Other things to note The steps to the cabin and inside the cabin are steep. There are wooden, very sturdy steps with handrails that make access to the river very accommodating. The cabin itself sits on the side of a steep hill overlooking the river. Please be cautious especially if you have toddlers. Snow Trails Ski Resort and the tubing park are just 10 minutes away. Mid-Ohio Racetrack and Pleasant Hill Lake are a short 15-20 minute drive. Mohican State Park and the canoe liveries in Loudonville are 15 minutes down St Rt 97. Additionally, Cardinal Shooting Center on I71 is 30 minutes south and it’s a short 25 minutes to the Mansfield Reformatory where Shawshank and many other movies and videos were filmed.
