This historical home was built in 1896 and was originally located on the corner of Winchester Ave & 17th St. In 1919, this home was moved, to it's present location, by oxen and rollers. Only 2 dishes broke during transport! There are beautiful stained-glass windows, large rooms w/ pocket doors and beautiful woodwork. First floor has a half bath and full of entertainment; No bedrooms. 2nd floor is living room, large kitchen, full bath and master bedroom. 3rd floor has a full bath & 4 bedrooms. The rooms are very spacious in this home! You can spend hours in the billiard room playing pool, at the game table playing cards, chess or checkers and don't forget, the ping pong table! There is a deck on 2nd floor, where you can sit and relax, have coffee, a snack or even a cocktail. You could read a book from the small library on 2nd floor living room or watch a movie with surround sound. A lot to enjoy without even going anywhere! To access entry into the home, we now use a NEST code for the Carport door entrance (under 2nd floor deck) You will be entering into the 1st floor Laundry Room. This room also has a Jacuzzi bathtub and shower. There is also a Laundry Room on 2nd floor. It is also the entryway to the 2nd floor deck. All rooms in the home are accessible. You can reach us anytime as we want you to have a great stay. We are happy to assist. This home is located in walking distance to many different attractions & restaurants. Ashland's Central Park has been recently updated and great for all ages. The kids, a family picnic, walkers, joggers, and even pets will enjoy. Only 1 block away are the beautiful neighboring Historic homes. The Paramount Arts Theater, Starbucks, Sal's Italian Eatery, and many other different restaurants are within blocks. You don't even need to drive! If you like shopping, there are many different shops to walk to, in Downtown Ashland or the Ashland Mall, a movie theatre and so much more! Enjoy a walk to the Ohio River, go fishing or go on a boat cruise! Lots to enjoy and many festivities year-round!
