Our 1-bedroom in-law suite is in a quiet neighborhood, halfway between Wrightsville and Carolina Beaches. It is less than a mile to the Trails End public boat & kayak launch/Intracoastal Waterway. This is an attached, ground floor apartment with private entry. There is no access from the main house. The large porch and a private backyard area with patio are exclusively for your use. Enjoy a private bedroom w/2nd TV, a spacious kitchen w/dishwasher, central A/C and washer/dryer in the unit. The space The in-law suite is a completely private space: a ground level, attached apartment in a split-level home. The left side of the double-width driveway is all yours. Pull your car right up to the porch steps! The well-lit private entrance to the suite is on the large porch pictured (left side of the house-see photos). The apartment features: - keyless entry w/personal door code created just for you - private covered porch & well-lit entrance accessed directly from the driveway - a private bedroom with a 2nd TV, light-blocking curtains & locking door - full-size kitchen with dishwasher - stacking washer/dryer (in the bathroom) - central A/C and heat (The thermostat is fully accessible, in the unit.) - private outdoor space with both covered seating & patio dining - ceiling fans in the bedroom and main living area (easily adjustable to your comfort by wall switches) - no shared spaces, entryways, or connecting doors with the main house Please note: *There is NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON PROPERTY, INCLUDING THE PORCH AND YARD. Any lingering smell from clothing and belongings may result in an additional cleaning fee. *All guests must agree to follow our published "Quiet Hours". This is a very peaceful property in a quiet, residential neighborhood. *Guests should be aware that the main house is a long-term rental. One side is still working fine!) *beach chairs & umbrella to take to the beach Guest access A privacy fence divides the backyard into two separate spaces. The backyard space for tenants of the main house is directly behind the Airbnb guest suite, where you may see their dogs (a Corgi & a Chihuahua) playing. The guest suite (Unit B) includes its own private backyard space with a small patio, an iron table & chairs and a propane grill that is older but still useful. It is situated directly behind the large porch, which is also the entrance to the apartment and exclusively for your use. Other things to note Guests are required to observe reasonable "quiet hours" after 10:00 pm. The main house is a long-term rental and there is potential to hear footsteps above the Airbnb apartment. They are friendly folks if you happen to run into them, and courteous neighbors to our guests. Park on the left side of the driveway. The long-term tenants park on the right side, so please ensure you and your guests park only on the left side so that no one is blocked in. Please do not park on the street or pull up on the grass.
