Convenient central location in the heart of the city within an 18 minute drive to any of the metro area. The space Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of cookware, serving ware, countertop appliances, and a complimentary coffee and tea bar. Stackable laundry stations is also on the same floor in the hall closet with complementary detergent "pods." Plenty of on-street and backyard parking. Beautiful historic "one of the first'' subdivisions of St Louis on a functionally dead end street near parks and a few minutes walk to public transportation and grocery stores. Private bedroom with electronic keypad locking door directly off of the living room complete with modern furnishings. Twin bed with cushioned headboard (mattress pad, fitted sheet, flat sheet, comforter, 2 oversized poly fiber pillows ), 9 drawer dresser, desk lamp with 2 outlets and 3 USB outlets, fan, floor lamp, mini fridge, linens (wash cloth, hand towel, and extra large bath towel all in high end cotton), wall mounted clothing rack (with 15 hangers), a 32" HD flat screen TV with basic cable, Roku TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Paramount+ included and fiber optic fast WiFi. The common areas are cleaned biweekly and supplies and extra bedding and linens are available for guests to clean their own room and restock as often as they would like during their stay. (all kinds of extra travel sized toiletries are also available should anything have been forgotten) Check in anytime on your own with self-check in. The front door has an electronic deadbolt locked all the time. Guest access Guests have access to any of the common areas of the house (kitchen, living room, bathroom, laundry closet in hall, linen closet, pantry, and janitor closet). All common cookware, appliances, and tableware in the kitchen are available to all guests. Complimentary coffee and tea is also available. Guest food storage space in the kitchen is labeled on the cabinets where designated. During your stay While I prefer to be a hands-off host, I can be as involved or as uninvolved in your stay as desired. I am available by app anytime if you have any questions, any issues arise, or would simply like recommendations during your stay. Other things to note There are 2 other bedrooms on the same floor as this listing and they are usually occupied with other guests (almost always 1 person per room so 99% of the time it is 3 people on the floor. Multiple guest bookings per room are uncommon). Also there are 3 other similar bedrooms in the basement (floor below) with a separate side entrance, laundry, bathroom, and kitchenette (functionally a separate living unit). Feel free to ask about occupancy details of the other bedrooms or the house as a whole anytime. The room is small and can accommodate a second guest for short (weekend) stays. Some couples or traveling pairs will be comfortable doing longer stays as needed. The twin bed can be shared or the mini couch in the living room folds into a short full size futon as an additional option for sleeping. Substantial discounts for weekly and monthly stays are available for longer term guests (automatically calculated when long term stays are selected: total will always be shown before booking).
