Cozy Room at Mountainview Lodge

Nestled into the Algoma Mountains is our charming lodge. Our exposed log cabins and private rooms in our guest lodge are all surrounded by mature spruce, birch and maple trees. Because of our unique location we are on a major flight path for northern migrating birds. We are along the sacred Goulais River, which is home to many different fish species all making their way to Lake Superior. This is some of the best fishing in the world. We also offer kayak and canoes to explore the river. The space Located in Searchmont in the mountains on the Goulais River, Mountainview Lodge has it all. This is a private room with their own bath, refrigerator, microwave, hairdryer and use of BBQ (we supply the propane). The room is located in our main lodge. Views of the mountain and a huge fire pit. Restaurant open upon request before arrival. Snowmobiling trails from the property, ski hill 5km away, quading, and fishing. Hammocks and walking trails down by the river. kayak and canoe rentals. Our main lodge has a cozy great room for our guests enjoyment including a fireplace. There are board games, televisions, with satellite and sport channels for those cold or rainy nights large enough to accomodate a large group of friends. Arrange use of great room at time of reservation. Guest access You will have access to the entire outside property. All trails, fire pit and river. Other things to note PET POLICY: We charge a one time fee per pet. $25 for small and medium breeds and $50 for big breeds such as huskies, golden sun and labs. Absolutely no pets allowed on coaches or beds. Must pick up after your pet. Dogs must be kept on leash. Upon check out, we will do a walk through in your room to make sure there are no damages. Damages to rooms will result in a $50 fee.
