Gateway to OBX Guest House

Come and get away in our guest house. Quietly and conveniently located on our 62 acre lot. Only a short walk (approx. 130 steps) to the dock and boat ramp! We also have some farm animals (pigs, goats, ducks, chickens) you can see from the house. You may even spot a bald eagle. Enjoy a quiet stop on your way to OBX. Virginia Beach Oceanfront is only 50 min and OBX Beach 50 min away. Owners live in main house and are here to help and assist as needed. The space This is a one bedroom guest house with kitchen (one working stove burner), livingroom, and one full bath. One side overlooks the woods and 1 side overlooks the farmyard. Although we DO NOT have WIFI or tv *(UPDATE: We just got a SMART TV so you can log into your favorite streaming like Netflix or Hulu.... You must also enter your wifi hotspot for connection as we still do not have WIFI or Cable) you are welcome to unplug and enjoy the 2 KAYAKS or the CANOE. We will provide life jackets and paddles. There is a FIREPIT if you would like to have a campfire as well. Pool is not for airbnb guest. Guest access You will have access to the guest house, guest house deck on tree side, and dock by the water. Dock is shared with owners and their kids. Pool is not for airbnb guest. Other things to note Please note our animals are behind an ELECTRIC FENCE so do not touch the fences. If you would like to pet the animals please contact us first to see if that is a possibility that day. Pool is NOT for airbnb guest. Enhanced Cleaning and disinfecting protocols are in place to help prevent the spread of germs/ virus's. Guest suite is cleaned and then disinfected including the following items: General: * Doorknobs * Surfaces * Light switches * Tables * Fan and lamp chains * Window sills and window handles * Thermostats * Hairdryers * Ironing boards and irons * Garbage Kitchen: * Sink * Cabinet handles and pulls * Appliances: toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker, etc. * Condiments: salt and pepper shakers, commonly used spices and containers, etc. * Kitchenware * Chairs Bathroom: * Sinks * Toilets * Faucet handles * Showers and tubs * Shower curtains * Shampoo, conditioner, body wash dispensers Bedroom *Hangers * Nightstands
