Guest suite in Geneva

Clean, comfortable, private guest suite with separate entry perfect for couples, friends or solo adventurists. Our house is located directly across from the Hobart and William Smith athletic fields, a short walk to main campus and Bristol Field House. Perfect for visiting parents! Half mile to Geneva's vibrant downtown with cafes, restaurants, shops and bars (10 minute walk, 2 minute drive). 1 mile to gorgeous Seneca Lake, walking trails and Finger Lakes Welcome Center. Guest access Hamilton House was recently purchased by our family as a primary residence. The whole house has been recently renovated, blending old home appeal with modern amenities. Your spacious guest suite (attached to host's main home) features a separate private entrance, your own living room, bedroom and full bathroom. The living room offers a comfortable respite with a full leather couch, flat screen TV with free WiFi streaming atop an electric fireplace console for extra warmth on chilly nights or extra ambiance. The bedroom boasts large closet for clothes and other items, a comfortable gel memory foam double-size bed, small chair, small TV with streaming services, Free WiFi as well as a small electric fireplace. In the hallway you will find a microwave and mini-fridge stocked with complementary water. There is a single-brew coffee maker with a variety of complimentary coffee and tea for you to enjoy. Help yourself to snacks such as microwave popcorn and granola bars. The spacious bathroom is clean & bright, offering fresh towels for each guest, a hairdryer, shampoo, soap & a few extra amenities just in case you forgot something at home. The moderate mostly fenced in back yard is for your enjoyment as well. We have corn hole available, as well as croquet and can jam. Adirondack chairs with small fire pit are also available. (please make arrangements to use prior). Directly behind our house is Jefferson Park (pictures included). Playground, swing sets, basketball court and a walking path that is approx. 1/2 mile around the whole park. Great for kids and dogs! Please note: The room is ideal and most comfortable for 2 guests. This works well for a small family who don't mind all sleeping in the same room, or a group of friends just needing a place to crash. There is 1 Double bed (sleeps 2). There is a couch that can sleep 1 in the private living room to the suite. Guest access - You will have complete privacy in your own suite. It is attached to the host's main house but has separate private entrance and the interior space is completely your own (not shared). - Keypad lock for easy self check-in and check-out. (Security code is changed after each guest). - One off-street parking space is reserved for your vehicle. Additional vehicle(s) may be parked on the street around the corner. - Guests do not have access to hosts main living area in the house. - The outside space is a shared area that hosts also use to access main house entrance. - Please note this is not a handicap-accessible space; there is a half-flight of stairs from living room area down to bathroom and bedroom area. Other things to note: We accept pets! Please do not leave dogs unattended unless making prior arrangements with host. Hosts live in the main part of the house and may or may not be on premises during your stay. Hosts are active and have children so you may hear them in or outside the home as this is a shared residence.
