Your perfect stay is here on Seneca Lake & the Wine Trail! An open concept living area, full kitchen & two bedrooms located at opposite ends provide comfort & privacy. Two bathrooms, each with shower. Forever water views from your covered patio. Long dock & swim platform to enjoy beautiful clear water. The city of Geneva is 3 miles away for dining out; stocking up or cruising around. Wineries, breweries, farm stands, Amish goods, marina for rentals, restaurants, biking - all here! The space Steps to the dock & lake, the suite is ready for relaxation and/or activity! Grab a club chair for morning coffee or bar stool for afternoon beverages or lounge chair for soaking in sun. The open concept living area is framed by operable screened windows & patio doors. Our full kitchen is well equipped, whether for a quick breakfast or an inspired grilled dinner! TV is entirely streaming - bring your account info & all is deleted at checkout! The two bedrooms are at opposite ends of the suite- perfect for privacy. Each has a brand new queen mattress with upscale linens, pillows & blankets to fully recharge for another great day. Two bathrooms, each with a shower, are necessary for couples trying to get ready & out the door for day’s adventure or dinner! One is en-suite; other is only steps down the hall from bedroom. The covered patio is comfy and cool. A grassy areas waits for corn hole & badminton. The dock has bar table for enjoying the views. A swim platform with ladder provides for easy in/out of lake. Our pebble beach allows for walk-in water access - great for water toys & kayaks! Guest access Our lovely guest suite is one level lakefront living - - however access to the suite requires walking down many natural stone steps (handrail). Additional steps provide access to the dock and lake. Definitely not recommended for children or adults with mobility challenges. A touchpad provides secure access to the suite-or a door with keys if you prefer! The private drive will accommodate up to two (2) guest vehicles. At this time, the dock can not accommodate boat moorings, however a marina with rentals, gear, slips & launch is less than 1/4 mi away! Several local businesses also have rentals and provide drop off & pick up. Other things to note Of course we have wifi - excellent strength throughout property. Stream music, movies or be in work mode with Zoom, etc. The family room TV uses a ROKU on guest mode: you use your own Netflix, Prime, Hulu or other account! Just load your checkout date & choose app to enter your accounts info. All data will automatically delete at checkout. The water of Seneca Lake is very clean & clear! At the end of the dock (80’) the depth is about 4.5’ - great for swimming & floating about. We have lake towels for you and do suggest bringing water shoes/sandals as the lake bottom is pebbles, stones & rocks with occasional shells. Life jackets are always encouraged. It’s also fun to bring floats & water toys! Our local Walmart often sells out of such by mid-summer so might be a plan to buy at home & bring them along! Just remember to pull all toys & towels out of water when done as our lake wind & waves have bad reputations of stealing them! Roy’s Marina is less than 1/4 mi away where rentals of kayaks, paddle boards, jet skis, or pontoon boats are available. Don’t wait to reserve- it’s a very popular place! More than 70 wineries are on our Seneca Lake - & more to visit on neighboring Canandaigua & Cayuga Lakes. Craft breweries continue to expand. There are several tour companies available for hire or you can drive a route & enjoy. Many are drop-in; some require reservations. We have lots of maps and brochures for you in the suite. Also the beautiful Finger Lakes Visitor Center is in Geneva at the top of the lake - a beautiful stop to check out the view, find great information & shop lots of local goods! Del Lago Casino is 16 miles away. Slots, tables, sports book, & restaurants! Great music venue. CMAC, a fabulous outdoor concert venue, is close by in Canandaigua my along with horse racing, shopping, a beautiful lakefront, dining & more wineries. Many State and county parks in the area boast endless hiking, biking & waterfalls. Watkins Glen is at south end of the lake (about 30 min drive) with not only amazing hiking but a fun town with interesting boat tours of lake and a very famous racetrack. One of the area’s best restaurants (Port Cafe) is within walking distance. Reservations necessary - available 10 days in advance of desired visit. The Belhurst Castle & the city of Geneva are very close by for cocktails, dining & shopping. Golf, flea markets, BBQ, artisan cheese, Amish-made goods ... it’s all here! Did you know that Memorial Day was conceived in Waterloo? It’s 6 miles away! Very sweet town museum & park. Most fabulous cheese shop. And an great outlet mall by I-90. What about history, like women’s suffrage? Seneca Falls was ground zero and there is a great museum honoring Susan B Anthony et all. The town is also said to have been the inspiration for the classic holiday movie “It’s A Wonderful Life” with Jimmy Stewart. Remember the scenes at the bridge? It’s here - Seneca Falls is 14 mi away.
