Creatives of all kinds are welcomed to be inspired and unwind amongst the trees. Formerly a 1980s Artists’ cottage, this newly renovated space is incredibly unique and fun. Upstairs was the art studio, downstairs the living quarters, and just outside the artist would create paintings of the landscape, using nature to inspire her work. This cottage has the tranquility and charm of country living, with the peaceful airiness of the beachside!! The space The Blue Door cottage is crisp, warm, and inviting all at once. The downstairs area, adorned with modern accents, boasts a dreamy escape. Climb up the spiral staircase, to the bedroom with ensuite, and experience the imaginative ambience of a child’s treehouse. The Blue Door unit is an in-law-suite style building. Two other completely separate units are also on the property, the Treehouse Zephyr’s Orange Door Suite and the Green Door Suite, which are located in the main part of the home. All have private entrances. *Larger groups needing more space can book the entire Treehouse Zephyr!* (Pending availability.) But it's one of the many reasons we fell in love with it and just had to have it in our portfolio. But if quirky is not your cup of tea, we completely understand and there are plenty of wonderful options out there that may better fit your style. Our cleaners will thoroughly sanitize the entire cottage ahead of your stay. To help support a clean and pathogen-free environment, we also encourage guests to remove their shoes when they enter the cottage. Your health and safety is our top priority! Guest access Guest will have access to the entire two-story loft unit, and upstairs patio. There is one parking space assigned for Blue Door guests, but no street parking. We are unable to accommodate check ins or check outs on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day. Please not the last day for check in for the Christmas holiday is Monday, December 22, 2025. Other things to note • Check-in is between 4 PM and 10 PM. • Check-out is at, or before 11 AM. • We are unable to accommodate early check in, or late check out. Due to Covid-19, we need to ensure housekeeping has ample time to clean and sanitize the unit. • Primary guest must be 21 or older. • No parties or events are allowed on the property. Violators will be asked to vacate the property immediately. • Only authorized guests are allowed in the unit. • The Blue Door Suite has a fridge, microwave, and a hot plate. This unit does feature a kitchenette, but it is not a full-functioning kitchen, and does not have full cooking capabilities. This space is better suited for folks who enjoy dining out or ordering take-out food while on vacation. (If you're interested in cooking full blown meals, please check out the Orange Door Suite, which is also located on property, and is equipped with all the appliances of a complete kitchen for cooking.) • Please keep AC set between 65-73 degrees. It cannot be turned off. • Only one car fits in the spot. Please ensure you park in your assigned space. Street parking is not available. • Pets are welcome with prior pet approval and pet fee. ($50 for entire stay) • Smoking is absolutely not allowed inside, or around the home. $500 penalty will be charged to anyone who smokes inside or close enough to the house so that the unit smells of smoke. • Extended stays (over 10 days) must be comfortable with our team gaining access to the unit for scheduled routine maintenance. • No holiday check-ins or check-outs to allow for our amazing team to have some time off for the holidays.
