Lucky Bear - Modern Cabin at the Black Bear Resort

Our not very big, but cozy, sparkling-clean unit, is located in the highly desirable Black Bear Resort. Near mountains, rivers, waterfalls, trails, etc. Fully stocked kitchen. King & queen beds. Full bath with a jacuzzi tub. Gas grill on the deck. Gas fireplace inside. Smart TV. Washer & dryer. Central AC & heat. No smoking. No pets please (no exceptions due to allergies). The space This is not just a rental property. This is our second home. If you appreciate comfort, then you will love our home: In the bedrooms, you will enjoy comfortable mattresses, down (and down alternative) pillows and linen comforters, and luxury Ralph Lauren sheets. You can count on plenty of extra blankets, sheets, pillows, etc. In the bathroom, you can take a break after a day of hiking in a brand new Jacuzzi (2024) while enjoying essential oils and candles. In our “welcome” package you will find shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soaps, etc. You will also find a front load washer & dryer to keep you comfortable during longer stays. In the kitchen, you will find all of the cooking essentials that you may need: from sharp knives to Calphalon pots and pans to foil and trash bags. Once you look at our kitchen, you will immediately know how much we love to cook. In the living room, you will find a smart TV, which you can use to log in to your Netflix or Amazon Prime account for a movie night. Or, you can enjoy a gas fireplace while you read a book from our library: we have everything from classic to fiction to bird watching books. The central AC/heater will keep you feeling just right. On the porch, you can enjoy fresh air of the Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge, which is adjacent to the cabin, while grilling on our gas grill, fully equipped with all grilling essentials.
