It's strategically located in the borders of Cary, and is close to other major cities like Apex, Holly Springs, Garner and Fuquay-Varina. The trees behind the house is now a great shade during summer, a place to enjoy and explore the little forest as I call it. A little creek runs through just outside of the property border. The original plan of this house was featured in Life Magazine's Dream Home of the year, 1994 by a famous Architect,Robert A.M Stern. Through the years, we then made changes to meet our needs and style and to update it with current trends. The layout is basically the same, though. We most enjoy the deck for outdoor living. Breakfast in the morning gives that refreshing feeling of the morning sunlight as you sip your coffee and just watch the deer grazing in the backyard, the birds chirping saying good morning and sometimes just to stare at the green forest with their broad leaves swaying with the gentle breeze. We made this place special for you to enjoy. The bed in MB is gel infused memory foam by Renaissance Kingsdown, Passion series, water by Rainsoft, filtered, and another faucet for purified water, no need to buy bottled water. We now provided a padded area rug in the busy traffic of the house so that making noise is less of your concerns. We will continually strive to make this place better so that you will have a fun and memorable stay in Raleigh. The house is yours, not sharing with the owners except for the mother-in-law quarter which is adjacent to the basement studio. It' like a duplex set up. although we live in the premises, we have separate entry and exit. We live in the basement originally called the in-law basement . There are only 3 choices of categories, entire house, sharing and private room, so the closest description is entire house. Chances are you will not see us unless you are in the yard at the time we are leaving or coming or during spring, I spend a lot of time gardening.. Starting July 6, because of the abuses of the past renters, we are now charging $10/use of the firepit and a refundable cleaning fee. We DO NOT ALLOW EVENTS, Starting today, July 27, 2020 no parties allowed. I encourage you to look elsewhere. The rooms now are rearranged. The 4th bedroom is the 500 sq. ft used to be a studio, but you still keep the living room part of it, the dinette, and the kitchenette minus the stove and the freezer. You may use the refrigerator part. ***Also very important, do not park on the gravel driveway, your parking is at the space in front of the garage. The gravel driveway is ours, and we get in and out of the house any time of the day including at times, early as 5:30 am. I'm sorry that the cleaners raised their price so now the laundry is included in the price. So please keep the towels and linens used for the purpose, not for cleaning your dirt nor wiping spills. But if we see some problems that should be addressed, we will be contacting you like sneaking unregistered guests or leak that comes to our area. like forgetting to shut the bathtub when it gets full or water running down to our portion of the basement from your bathroom. thank you. You have to ask the owners if it is okay to have friends if planning to have a little gatherings. No overnight stay. Allowing guests to visit is only a courtesy that we give to you. We are not liable to unregistered guests. . We are located close to an exciting mix of business, research, education and government institution. While our home is minutes from a wide selection of shopping centers, dining, recreation and entertainment places, we are located in a quiet rural area with nearby horse farms and area for walking. If you little children who love water activities, there are kayaks, canoes, row boats and paddle boats rental at lake Johnson from May to end of Sept. just 3 miles from here. For adults, I will recommend Jordan Lake and Lake Wheeler. Although our house is close to everywhere, you will need a car in getting around. Points of interest: Historic Yates Mill Co Park 3.6 mi, PNC Arena, Downtown Raleigh, 7.9 mi, Lake Johnson, 3.5, Regency Park, 7 mi, RDU airport, 16 mi. For out of the country, we have an in-house uber driver. YOUR INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER WILLFUL BREAKING OF RULES SUCH AS THE ONE BELOW. THE OWNER HAS SEVERE ALLERGY TO CIGARETTE SMOKE. ***ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE, THE DECK OR IN PREMISES. WE GO OUT OF OUR WAY TO MAKE YOUR STAY SPECIAL, SO PLEASE RESPECT THE RULES OF THE HOUSE. IF YOU SMOKED ANYWAY, YOU NOT ONLY WILL YOU FORFEIT YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT, THERE WILL BE A PENALTY OF $250.00/NIGHT. THANK YOU FOR NOT SMOKING. NO DOGS ALLOWED. Owner is under treatment of allergies. Please do not ask us to sacrifice my health for your sake and other guests who might bein the same situation like me. Our house doesn't have a separate area or space that is designed to accommodate your needs. You have options to look for other accomodations for your needs and we don't. DAMAGES TO PERSONAL PROPERTIES THAT ARE ON LOAN DURING YOUR STAY. Quiet time at 11 pm until 7 am. We live in the country and loud music and loud arguments can traverse through the community, not just our neighbors. We will need a confirmation that you do agree with the terms and condition hereby set to abide with in writing to get the entry code. Should you decide to wait until your arrival, we will meet you at the door. AT which time check in will be between 3pm and 8 pm. Unless you are flying, then you need to send proof of time arrival to extend check in. We will be installing surveillance camera in the premises. NO unregistered guests allowed. Violation will result to cancellation with no refund.
