Mountain Chalet

The Mountain Chalet is an all season private home nestled in the family oriented North River/Garnet Hill community. The chalet is located within minutes of the famed Garnet Hill Lodge, a Nordic ski center, Gore Mountain Ski Resort, and the Siamese Pond Wilderness area for Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, and whitewater rafting. The chalet provides our guests with access to the Forever Wild Thirteenth Lake for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, biking, and fishing. The space This multi-level home features a 25 foot vaulted ceiling great room, hardwood floor, gas fireplace, sectional sofa and glass sliding doors leading to a sun deck with views of Gore Mountain. Adjoining the great room is a fully equipped kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, including a gas range, granite counter top, large island and an oak dining table that seats eight. The Mountain Chalet strictly adheres to Airbnb COVID-19 cleaning and safety practices. The carpeted bedrooms are located on all levels of the chalet. The grand bedroom, on the upper floor, offers an ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet. The first floor has two bedrooms; each with one double bed and a twin bed, large closets and a shared full bathroom. The fourth bedroom, located on the lower level, offers two twin beds, a closet and next to a full bathroom. The large media/recreation room is fully appointed with a leather sectional sofa, a recliner, 65" smart television, board games, and book library, as well as ping pong table for all to enjoy. Additionally, at the lower level entrance, is a mud room area to store skis, boots, coats and other recreational equipment. For your convenience, there is a large capacity washer and dryer. The Mountain Chalet property also has a fire pit for another place to gather. The Chalet will be an ideal and memorable place to spend your Adirondack adventure getaway. Other things to note Should there be a area wide power outage, our guests will never be without power or lights as the house is equipped with a 24KW Generac Stanby Generator. It's set to come on within 60 seconds of an outage.
