Relax next to the cozy gas fireplace or on the top deck that soars up into trees, just like a roost. The space Quiet and private location on a dead end street with little traffic. Spacious and open floor plan. Enjoy the fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Explore the wilderness while staying at the roost. Though we love children and pets, ONLY Bookings with up to two Adults allowed. Guest access You’ll have the entire place to yourself... However, the GARAGE is a private work building and not part of the rental. Since the Roost is at 8400ft Altitude there is no need for air conditioning. Enjoy the mountain breeze or use the supplied window fan if it is necessary. Other things to note There is a set of stairs to the “roost” Upstairs has a nice sized deck with chairs for two to enjoy the outdoors. If you so feel inclined there is also a fire pit with additional seating. Treed Property for seclusion yet minutes to town with a few restaurants. State and national forests only minutes drive away! This area is known for abundant wildlife viewing. Deer, birds, Elk and even bear visit the area. We ask all guests staying at the “roost” to keep their trash inside. If you generate more than you can leave inside just call me and I’ll come pick it up and bring it to the offsite trash dumpsters. Don’t leave any food or snacks in your vehicles or outside. Note: for guests staying more than one week I suggest me coming by weekly to get your trash and drop off fresh linens.
