A simple private room in a happy, warm home. The room is cozy, yet comfortable. We are well seasoned Airbnb guests, but are now also on the hosting side. We're constantly upgrading the room to ensure the best stay for all of our guests! So if you have any ideas, don't hesitate to mention them to us. We’d love to accommodate you in any way possible, and will do our best to ensure you have the most pleasant of stays :) The space Your room and bathroom is located downstairs in the back corner of the house, just off the kitchen. It is just a simple room with a comfy queen sized bed, a mini fridge, a desk and TV. We don't have cable, but we do have wifi and a smart TV!!! We have pretty much all of the popular streaming apps: Netflix, Hulu, Prime TV, Nick Jr and YouTube for kids (my son is a Blippi fan). Our home is about a 10-15 minute drive to Downtown Greenville, a 10-15 minute drive to Woodruff Rd which has ample shopping, and about 20 minutes from the Haywood Mall if you prefer that kind of shopping. But we do literally live around the corner from so many fast food and sit down restaurants. We even have a few gems here that my husband and I would be more than happy to recommend. Walmart is also over there, a few plazas, and grocery stores. We're also near the main hospital should anything ever happen (God forbid, of course!). During your stay I am a full-time SAHM, and part time Wedding/Boudoir Photographer. So myself and my sons are home most of the day, when i'm not traveling. I can be as involved, or uninvolved, in your visit as you wish. My husband works downtown and usually keeps to himself, when he is home, so you kinda see him when you see him. But if you ever get bored, feel free to come hang out with us. Play with my sons, or play video games with the husband, or just talk. Whatever you feel up to. I love showing people around our small town and downtown Greenville and can suggest good food and places to visit. Other things to note Please understand that we have 3 gorgeous sons, DJ who is 7 yrs old, Jeremiah who is 5 (he’s also autistic so he keeps to himself), and Malachi, our last baby, who is now 2. So we are a noise hazard house! They are all talkative and like to get on each others nerves, as brothers do. So if you stay with us, be forewarned that this house is a noise hazard. You may hear them laughing and squealing with joy or yelling at each other because someone touched someone else and now one of them is crying. Or you may hear me threatening to take away all tablets, video games, and candy if they don’t chill the heck out. Lol. But we do have them upstairs or in bed by 8-8:30pm. 9pm at the latest. They know to be considerate to our guests when it comes to their noise level…but they are kids and do forget. Just talk to me if there’s an issue and I will address it with them.
