Description

Custom-crafted tiny house on the Peninsula overlooking a bay. Watch seals swim, heron hunt and eagles soar. Rain or shine, spend the day kayaking on the calm water and return to the house to star-gaze from the outdoor tub. Explore the Olympic National Park and the nearby state parks including Belfair and Twanoh parks from here. The space Grapeview is a hidden gem and we want to share our space with you. The tiny house is built on a two-parcel property with an established art studio and primary normal-sized house. Privacy screens and plants help keep the space private at the same time not isolated scary. You’ll hear seals at night, see heron hunt for fish, smell oysters when the tides recede, and laugh at otters running on mud. High ceiling makes this 130 square foot tiny house feel big! Windows and two sets of French doors maximize natural lighting. Patio inspires endless picnics. Make s’mores around the fire pit (when there is no fire ban). Outdoor soaking tub is great for star gazing. When you need a fresh perspective, walk down to the beach and take the kayaks out to explore the peninsula. Work from here with high speed fiber optic internet. The house is equipped with basic cooking equipment including a portable electric stove, mini smart toaster oven that you can bake bread in, microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge/freezer for your cooking needs. There is cooking oil, salt, pepper and coffee. We are travelers like you and try to make this a unique experience like what we hope for ourselves. This space continues to improve because of guest feedback. Please don’t hesitate to send suggestions and ask questions. We would love to hear from you. Guest access Guests have access to the beach and kayaks with life vests and paddles. Please note the house is on the peninsula with salt water that goes up and down at different hours of the day. Sometimes the water will be high up to the stairs of the kayak deck and other times the water is low enough to expose the muddy beach. From the house you can watch nature happen. Other things to note There are stairs from the parking area to the tiny house and from the tiny house to the beach. Please look up ‘Mason County Burn Ban’ for current fire laws to determine if there are firebans in effect.
