This property is equipped with a full kitchen, including dishwasher, two full bathrooms and washer / dryer. It should be noted that the second bedroom of this property is on the upper level of the house and there are VERY steep steps to get there. There is no bathroom on the second level. This property is in a wooded setting and there is a moderate slope to / from the lake. Water shoes are suggested when going in the water as there is a rocky / weeded bottom. We do not drink the water from the tap - but fresh drinking water is provided for you. We live locally and can be reached should there be a need for assistance. It's actually a river town, situated on the Kennebec and bordering on Merrymeeting Bay. With the river so close, it’s a great place for canoeing and kayaking. Take the ferry from the Richmond waterfront over to Swan Island for an island tour via truck and a chance to see a variety of wildlife.
