Kid and Family Friendly Downtown

The house is ideal for families with young babies and toddlers, but still comfortable for a group of adults as well. Enjoy the comfort and serenity of a quiet neighborhood, but the convenience of a 5 minute walk to the Downtown Mall. The space The Main Floor has an open floor plan, with the focus being the newly renovated kitchen. This flows into a dining room, which is near the living room. Towards the back of the house is full bathroom, and a children's playroom that has a pull out full bed. Upstairs, we have a full bathroom, two bedrooms with queen beds, one children's room with a bunk bed (1 twin, 1 full), and a nursery with a crib and children's cot that can also be used for an air mattress. The backyard is fenced in, with a massive wrap-around deck and a swing set. A note about our home if you’re thinking about booking it: This house was built in 1920; over the last 100 years there have been countless changes, additions and renovations. It is full of quirks and character. We think this and the way we had outfitted it for our small children makes for a fun and flexible city experience for families visiting Charlottesville. We love sharing this special home with traveling families looking for the convenience of walking downtown and built in baby/ toddler equipment. If you are looking for a more luxury experience, there are many other homes and hotels in our area that might be better suited for your stay! Other things to note Let us know if you are bringing young children, as we can make available things like a pak-n-play, stroller, car seats, a bike with a baby seat, etc. Or if you are a group of adults, we can store a lot of the kid's items elsewhere.
