Shadynook Cottages #2

2 blocks from downtown Forks you will find this comfortable cottage. It is close to city amenities such as restaurants, and shopping while being a short driving distance from hiking, sight seeing, beach combing, and exploring. This private cottage has free parking and a fully stocked kitchen facility so you can dine in or eat out! The space Cottage 2 had a complete remodel this past winter/spring and was completed in May 2021. Almost everything is brand new! Cottages 2, 3, and 4 are in close proximity to one another, but are entirely separate cottages. Cottage 2 has a small, covered patio area outside the main entrance. The main living area is an open kitchen/dining/living space. It has a sofa bed, recliner, entertainment center with TV, dining table with chairs and a small, yet well-stocked, kitchen area. The refrigerator and stove are smaller than average models. The bedroom has a queen bed, a small desk, and a closet for hanging clothes. There is a coat closet for extra storage. The bedroom faces the parking area, so there is the possibility of noise from vehicles and the road in front of the property. The bathroom is accessed via the bedroom and is very small. It has a shower, no bathtub. The bedroom does have a door for added privacy. Guest access Cottage #2 has parking directly in front of the building. One parking spot is allotted for each cottage. Limited street parking is available off of the cross street, Wood Street, next to our fence adjacent to the main house. A local shuttle bus passes the cottages regularly if needed. Other things to note The backyard space is shared with the other cottages and has a table, chairs, and umbrella. The TV in cottage 2 is a smart device. If you would like to watch Netflix, Hulu, etc. you will need to log-in to those services using your own accounts. DirecTV is also available in the cottage.
