Modern log house in a spectacular setting

You won't find as unique a location as our ranch. We are an "in-holding" in the San Juan National Forest., i.e. we are 160 acres surrounded by the 2 million acre National Forest. The "Bunkhouse" is a three bedroom, two full bath house with a full working kitchen, a pot-bellied stove for heat in the cold months, and a large common area with a dining table for eight. Nicely appointed, you would NEVER expect that we were even there buried among the spectacular scenery. The space The bunkhouse is at 9400 feet elevation so breathe deeply when you're here. We are located near the top of a Colorado mountain adjacent to Jersey Jim Lookout Tower. Our nearest neighbor is ten (10) miles away. During the summer we often have a large elk herd in residence. If you like the outdoors you'll LOVE our location. It can't be beat. Other things to note There is a period piece potbellied stove in the house that throws off a lot of heat. It is more than adequate to keep the Bunkhouse feeling snug and comfortable.
