* Jacuzzi hot tub under the stars * Propane firepit * Propane BBQ * High speed wifi * Double outdoor shower * Views in every direction * Cozy fireplace * Clawfoot tub * Large covered patio with outdoor dining * 5 private acres * Newly opened in September 2020 This rustic cabin was born in the 40s but given a luxe remodel in 2020. Designed by Doug Wiand (HGTV, House Hunters Renovation), Pine+ Mountain was inspired by the country getaways of Doug's childhood - but re-imagined for the discerning grownup. On cool nights, relax by the fireplace or star gaze from the hot tub. When it's warmer, enjoy sunsets from the front porch or cool off in the double outdoor shower. Or just snooze the day away in a hammock. The property is yours to roam and relax. With multiple separate lounge areas, we have created the perfect setting for a cup of coffee with the sunrise or a cocktail during Golden Hour. We like to respect our guest’s privacy, so you won’t see too much of us - unless you need us to come by. We will be available to answer any questions you may have and to help make your stay more enjoyable. The property is about 25 minutes from the west entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. It is also near the following local attractions: The Integratron (5 minutes)- This is an unforgettable sound experience for those seeking deep relaxation and rejuvenation. Sound baths are by appointment only by online booking or phone. Integratron is located about 20 minutes away and worth every minute. Goat Mountain - the house is located just a short walk from the Goat Mountain trailhead. Hike to the top of this 1000 foot peak for stunning 360 degree views of the Mojave Desert. It's an amazing and still largely undiscovered experience just steps from the cabin. Landers Brew Co (5 minutes) - If you are looking for a good beer, surrounded by beautiful desert scenery, LBC is the spot. With a friendly bar staff and great selection of drafts and bottles, you can't go wrong. Definitely a must for beer lovers. The 20 minute drive is well worth it to enjoy a beer on the patio or listen to some local live music. La Copine (10 minutes) - nationally known local restaurant, written up in countless publications, from the New York Times to Vogue. And, be sure to try these places in "downtown" Joshua Tree, about a 15 minute drive away: Country Kitchen is perfect for a delicious diner Breakfast and home cooked meals. Crossroads Cafe is a breakfast and lunch hot spot with a wide range of options, including vegan/vegetarian options. Pie For The People is hands down the best pizza in town, the garlic knots are pretty tasty too! Natural Sisters is the vegetarian restaurant in Joshua Tree and has large portions and hearty salads.
