Other things to note A Special Healthy Place to stay To ensure the cottage is professionally cleaned and sanitized, we mandate a 2-day waiting period (minimum) before the next guests are allowed into the cottage. Day 1: After every guest checkout all washable material is removed properly and a professional ozone generator is activated to kill bacteria/germs on all surfaces for 6 hours. Then our cottage is naturally ventilated for a 6 hour period of time to insure total fresh air intake. Numerous fans are used to enhance this process. Day 2: The professional cleaning begins. A microfiber duster is used to effectively remove dirt and dust from every inch of space. Then followed up with powerful HEPA filter vacuuming of all surfaces. Next all spaces/touch points, bathroom, kitchenette are wiped down with soap and water. Followed up by sterilization of all surfaces, floors, doors and windows using a EPA approved multi-surface disinfected product. Finally we use steam cleaning (set at 220 degrees) to clean and disinfect all furniture, pillows, floors, bed mattress and shower walls . All bedding, towels, shower curtain are replaced with washed and sterilized ones. Entire space is rechecked to ensure all procedures have been completed before reset for next arriving guests.
