The perfect fun getaway Great location: ~15 minutes from the Beacon train station, ~60 minutes from the UWS or UES, 20 minutes from Cold Spring. Enjoy the pool, beautiful yard, hammock, BBQ, hot tub, firepits - and while indoors, a beautiful open kitchen, board games, arcades and ping pong. Walk to Fishkill Farms, or drive 5 minutes to the Appalachian trailhead for hiking or Sloop Brewery for drinks and great bar food. The space The house has everything you need for a great stay: Pool area w/ BBQ, outdoor seating, game room, gym, and a huge lawn with views + lots of thoughtful amenities You'll have access to the entire house - Open main floor includes 1/2 bath and relaxing front porch - kitchen, open to the living room, has a coffee maker, toaster, water heater, ninja, sodastream, full spice rack, and the usual kitchen stuff - as well as Sonos speakers. Dining room and 2nd living room complete the first floor. Upstairs, there are 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The beds all have memory foam mattresses, with Brooklinen bedding and duvets on all the Queen beds, and mountain views off in the distance for most bedrooms. Walkout lower level has a bedroom with a queen bed, small sleeping alcove, full bathroom, workout equipment, and game room with ping pong plus pacman and NBA Jam arcades, and Sonos speakers - Great backyard with a heated in-ground pool (open until ~October 1st, please check before booking during off season if you are counting on pool use), hot tub open year-round, BBQ, seating / eating areas, hammock and firepit, and 2nd floor deck for relaxation. Guest access Entire house, except for two locked kitchen cabinets locked to the right and above the fridge, and breezeway/ garage, and backyard shed. Other things to note Please note that the basement alcove sleeping area is not a typical bedroom but an open but out of the way nook. The 4 twin beds listed in the living area refers to that there are 4 extra twin beds that can be set up wherever. There are mini split units in all upstairs bedrooms and on the main floor for a/c and heat. Please do not rely on the pool heater to achieve any desired temperature; the water temp is usually comfortable through the heart of summer. Optional pool heat is 200/ 3-day weekend/ 500 for a week. The house is appropriate for families, couples, and quiet groups who want a peaceful setting in a convenient family-friendly location. It is not suitable for parties, chaos, and or loud outdoor noise. Fireworks of any kind or any size are not permitted. There are cameras and noise detectors on the exterior of the property. The hot tub can be damaged if left uncovered while not in use. Hot tub damages start at $200 if it needs a cleaning/ water replacement due to debris, to potentially $1k or more if any of the systems are damaged. Leaving it uncovered also uses a lot of electricity; evidence of it being uncovered for a significant period of time while not in use will be charged at $100 per day.
