Beautifully furnished, efficiency Studio Suite located in the lower level of our home & situated on the banks of the Thames River. The suite is open concept - there is not a separate bedroom. The suite features your own private entrance with an Olympic queen bed (6 inches wider than regular queen) as well as a queen sofa hide-a-bed and three-piece bath. Bed and bath linens are included. The kitchenette is complete with bar fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, portable induction cooktop burner, electric fry pan, slow cooker, multiple coffee making devices along with dishes, cutlery and utensils. The 37” wide-screen Smart TV & DVD player are accompanied with secure, free WiFi. Netflix, Crave, Prime bring your own password!!!! Guest access In season you can enjoy our in-ground heated swimming pool (with limited availability) and the use of a propane BBQ. You can also use our canoe for a paddle on the Thames River Mill Pond or go for a walk on the Thames River Nature trail; both are just outside your door. Visit the West Perth Wetlands for exceptional bird watching and photographic opportunities. In the winter bring your cross-country skis and head out right from your door. We are only minutes to the Mitchell Golf and Country Club (a picturesque 18 hole golf course maintained in peak condition). Just 15 minutes to the Stratford Festival Theatre – 30 minutes to Blyth Festival Theatre – 12 minutes to the G2G cycling/hiking trail. We are only 45 minutes to Lake Huron where you can visit Goderich, Bayfield, Grand Bend or other interesting towns/village on one of the Great Lakes. Other things to note Two or more night bookings required however one-night bookings are accepted when available/convenient. When booking it is helpful to tell us a little about yourself and the purpose of your trip. We do require guests to be vaccinated against Covid. Self Check-in time is anytime after 2:00 pm.
