The space We have only three cabins on a forty acre tract, so there is plenty of room to roam and explore. You are welcome to take a walk in the woods, dangle your feet in a cold mountain stream or hike to a mountaintop, all without leaving the property. Walk to a trout stream, read on the enclosed porch or swing on the exterior porch swing...however you wish to spend your time The Tulip Poplar Cabin can accommodate you. The Cabin features an Extra Large Bedroom, Fully Equipped Kitchen, Modern Bath, Fully Windowed Enclosed Porch and a smaller Front Porch with Porch Swing. There is also a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. A small branch trickles down the mountainside and across the front yard and the much larger White Oak Creek rushes toward the Nantahala River at the property line. Recently remodeled, the kitchen features all new appliances including a dishwasher, disposal, and is fully equipped for preparing, cooking and serving your family's favorite meals. Guest access You will have complete and private access to the kitchen/dining area, an fully windowed enclosed porch, an outside porch with swing, a shady deck with chairs, an extra large bedroom with queen bed and plenty of storage space, a modern bath with heated tile floors, a laundry room with full size washer and dryer, paved front door parking and a covered carport, a two level outside area with a mountain brook splashing down through the lawn, bonus parking on the lower level for guests, trailers or bikes. The front door is your private entrance and the side door is your personal access to the deck. There is normally no one at the property while guests are present and there are no homes or cabins within sight thus guaranteeing you complete privacy. You are welcome to climb the mountain behind the cabin or walk down to the stream across form the cabin. This is all on cabin property so you are free to roam. Other things to note The Cabin is easily accessible by all vehicles off of a paved public road. It has a pull through driveway that is not excessively steep, perfect for guests with trailers. The cabin's features a gravity fed, private water system (health department inspected and approved) which provides abundant cool, clear, mountain spring-water.
