BONUS: A shared oversized in-ground swimming pool and lounging tent for shade and stargazing *note* Pool is not heated and closing Oct 1st. The space This listing is for the basement apartment under our main house which includes: three bedrooms; one with a soft adjustable queen mattress, one firm and one medium firm mattress. The couch can also open for an extra bed to accomodate 1 person comfortably. The property is surrounded by trees and woods but has the convenience of being just 5 minutes to Route 80, and Stroudsburg's Main Street and 20 minutes to famous Pocono sites like Pocono commons, Mount Airy lodge and Casino, Mt Pocono, Camelback Water Park and Shawnee Ski area. Guest access THE APARTMENT: 3 bedroom private apartment. Our family home is located in the main house above. Enter through our garage side door in front of the house, then into a mud room/foyer. The basement has its own entrance door and is 1 flight of steps down. You will have a huge living room, spacious kitchen, 2 enclosed bedrooms ( one large one small), a third large bedroom that is set back, laundry room and bathroom. It is over 2500 sq ft. THE OUTDOOR SPACE: You will have a private patio with 2 tables and 7 chairs. Access to a large backyard and children’s play set. From here you can walk to the pool area. Pool is large with a covered gazebo 2 large pool chairs, 4 chaise lounges, beach chairs and bench area on the deck for additional seating. There is a pool bathroom ( toilet and sink) located right on the deck. Other things to note There are 2 entrances - you'll have entry instructions through the garage as your main entrance. Once inside you can use the back doors as a 2nd entrance and walk around the front or back of the property where you will find the double doors and patio area. There is currently no path so you must walk on the grass. Being a basement, the apartment is always cool. Only one bedroom has windows, so fans are provided. A dehumidifier will be running in the kitchen and on for most of your stay. The apartment is carpeted entirely, so please no footwear while inside.
