Cozy, rustic, cabin in a Cedar forest on 20 acres next to a creek. Heaven for the Nature lover. 1 Mile to a lake. Great swimming, fishing and paddle boarding. 25 min. to Sandpoint, 20 minutes to Priest River, 1 hr. to Priest Lake, 55 minutes to CDL and 1.5 hours to Spokane airport. Outdoor hot water shower disabled mid Oct.-May 1. You can still get a shower at the main cabin by appointment. This cabin now has power! A private wood fired Sauna is available, by apt. $60 a couple $40 solo. The space Are you looking for a place to escape to and tune into Nature? Do you need to get away from your computer and wi-fi ? This is a recharging station for the soul! Deep in the forest and near a non-motorized lake. You will wake up to the birds, the breeze and the sound of the creek. Very little traffic here, you are two cabins away from the end of the road. The wood stove heats up the cabin quickly for chilly mornings or stormy days. There is a Propane grill and a propane 2 burner camp stove (we provide the propane). The outdoor kitchen area is covered and has a table top to prepare your food. I have two new Andirondack outdoor chairs and table along with a free standing fire pit. We have a hammock hanging in the shade of the cedars. A great place to rest or read a book. I have a 5 gallon water dispenser that we fill with spring water from the land. There is a Berkey water filter. There are pans, dishes, silver ware, olive oil, salt and pepper, dish soap and plastic wash basins provided. A Cooler that is built into the table is also provided. There is no real power here. (but there is a power cord that is has been ran down to the cabin in case you need to charge up something or run a fan in the summer or the oil heater in winter.) It's also for the electric blanket on the bed that keeps you warm in the winter if needed. There are a couple of battery powered lanterns. It's great to bring flip flops for the outdoor shower in the summer months, and a flashlight or headlamp. We also provide the toilet paper and paper towels, and towels for your shower (not for the lake). There is shampoo and soap here also. Guest access Guests have access around the tiny cabin. Beyond the cabin and the garden, PLEASE ask for permission by contacting Lori first. Thank you! Other things to note Verizon is spotty here. AT&T and other networks like consumer cellar work great! There is normally an instant hot water outdoor shower here. From mid Oct- May 1st it's not in operation. We have to winterize it so it doesn't freeze up. You can make an appointment to use the shower in the main cabin during the winter months. There is still an outdoor composting toilet year round. We provide wood for your indoor fire. If you're going to have an outdoor fire please provide your own wood for it. There is lots of kindling in the forest around the cabin that would be great for your use. There is a Propane grill and a propane 2 burner camp stove (we provide the propane). The outdoor kitchen area is covered and has a table top to prepare your food. This cabin now has power inside and out! Running water also inside at the little sink and in the outdoor kitchen! A headlamp is helpful as well as flip flops for the outdoor shower. We do have a few bugs different times of the day, a healthy bug repellant is helpful. If you’re bringing a pet please let us know All dogs must stay on a leash and be very minimal barking dogs. There is an additional $35 nonrefundable pet fee. If you have two dogs the fee is $55. Please bring your own Doo-doo bags Thank you! Remember to print out the directions as GPS sometimes takes you in the wrong direction!
