Welcome to Artists' Habitat! Our space is perfect if you are looking for rest and relaxation and inspiration. We offer sun drenching, star watching, respite and reflection. This sublime studio is complete with private bathroom, shaded porch and garden view. We look forward to your arrival. The space Our little boutique style studio is sweetly small. Its 200 square feet is ideal for one or perfect for two who want to explore the town. It sits in a row of four guest rooms in an historic motor court, originally built in the early nineteen hundreds to house workers who constructed Elephant Butte Dam. The guest room boasts a garden view with deck chairs on the front porch. Sit and relax in the shade provided by the resident elm tree. Studio 0 features a full size bed and a cozy sitting areas. Tim’s handcrafted furniture accents the tranquil design. Being built over 100 years back, the private, light-filled bathroom has a two foot wide doorway and a small walk-in shower. Coffee, tea, and organic creamer are included as well. For those interested in the healing arts, you can enhance your experience by adding massage therapy and/or hot mineral water soaking. We provide a lists of therapists and hot springs all dedicated to your well being who are available. We are located in the heart of the hot springs district and walking distance to all hot springs and many other establishments. We use biodegradable, fragrance-free cleaning products also made at home. If this guest room doesn't suite your fancy, take a peek at our other listings... Guest access Guests are invited to rest and relax in the sitting areas surrounded by a lovingly tended and ever-growing garden. Guests are also welcome to use the compost shed, as well as our laundry shed. Hang your clothes on the line and let the dessert sun do the drying. Other things to note We have a special little feline, Abigail, who lives with us on the property. She is friendly and might want to come up to your patio to say hello. However, in respect to those with allergies, we don't allow her inside the guest rooms. Please help us maintain her vitality and longevity by not feeding her.
