Some people don't seem believe us. Trust us, we’ve been to the cabin before ;) It IS steep and there are pot holes. This is a logging road that is not maintained by the county so we are on our own to pay for repairs which are very costly. This cabin is not for the less adventurous type. To us, it's part of the experience. You want to come to the mountains don't you?? If you want to be near shopping and flat roads this is not for you. If you want to be near the park with a breathtaking view and hiking near by... look no further! Please. We do not want to hear about the road. It’s a mountain. There are potholes. Be aware of what you’re purchasing. Thank you!! The fireplace is shut down April 1 to October 1 as with every cabin in the area. The cabin is in the woods. You will likely see and hear critters. The roof is metal. There is no attic. If a squirrel crawls on the roof you will hear it. If it’s raining you will hear it. If you see a bear during your stay whether in the park or in the driveway do not feed it. Stay away from it. They are dangerous. Bears are RARE! The hot tub is for guests 21 and over only. Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or you are pregnant. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK! We do not offer late check out or early check in. Soaps, shampoos, toiletries, condiments, zip locks, charcoal and coffee are NOT provided Please message us before booking more than 4 people! Pets are NOT allowed. If you sneak in a pet of any kind you will be charged an additional $175 and you will likely be asked to leave. Absolutely no fires! Unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged $100 plus damages
