Cozy Lakefront Cabin on Lake Wallenpaupack

We’re long-time members of this one-of-a-kind lakefront community and are excited to share our cozy cabin with you! Summer offers swimming and relaxing at the shared beach. Fall brings colorful leaves, crisp air, breweries, and apple orchards. Winter transforms the area into a snowy winter wonderland retreat near ski resorts—then unwind by our propane fireplace. In spring, enjoy peaceful lake views as the community comes back to life. The space Our cabin has a full wrap-around porch with a grill and a comfy hammock you'll want to snooze in. There's a sliver of lake view and a wonderful feeling of being among the forest. Inside, there are 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living areas, and 1 incredible sunroom office. There's a large garage and plenty of parking space in the driveway or on the road in front of the house. The living room has a big comfy leather couch & recliner, a wooden roll-top desk if you need a dedicated workspace, and a large selection of board games that you're welcome to play! Guest access You'll be able to access the entire space. Other things to note During humid seasons (spring, summer), you'll want to keep the dehumidifier running. You'll need to empty it as it fills up, every 1-2 days at most. Trust us, it's worth it. You'll need to take out the trash each week, along with some precautions to keep the animals from getting into it. As with any home located in the woods, you may encounter wildlife, bugs & critters around the property. We'll ask you to take precautions to keep them outside only. Our Internet speeds are more than enough to support many people working remotely. When it snows, the community roads are plowed, but you'll be in charge of shoveling the deck/walkways on the property during your stay should it snow.
