Open to longer term stays or min 28 day stays - inquire via messaging. The space This space is comfortable, cool, and private. Located in the historic part of "Chicken Hill" you get to stay in this unique neighborhood with super close access to downtown and the RAD (River Arts District). We have an amazing Green Way along the river to walk, bike, run, or rollerblade along. The greenway is a 5 minute walk away. The house is in a friendly neighborhood that is unique to Asheville. You can walk to downtown or to the River Arts District easily. It's quiet, safe, and the neighbors look out for each other in a very friendly way. The upstairs of the house features a beautiful front porch overlooking our certified wildlife habitat with native plants, a large living room with dining area, full size kitchen with all the cooking essentials, master bedroom with queen size bed and bathroom with a spacious shower. The downstairs has quiet bedroom with a queen size 4 poster bed, a dedicated work space with a sit/stand desk and small kitchenette. It also has a full bathroom with large jet tub/shower and the laundry area. This opens to the lower patio and the backyard. We often sit out here in the summer to enjoy the fireflies. There are stairs inside and outside of the house. Please note that if you have mobility limitations, this house may not be the best option. Guest access You'll have access to the entire house, backyard, and private parking spot. Other things to note You get to stay in one of the more unique neighborhoods in town - this is a historic area of town with a hidden neighborhood within it all. As it's old, there isn't a ton of parking. You have your own space at the house, but if you have multiple cars, one needs to park just around the corner (20 sec walk). The Wifi is very high-speed throughout the house. Multiple people can be on zoom at the same time without issue. We have mini-split heat/air units upstairs and downstairs that provide heat and/or air. We also have a gas fireplace upstairs that is turned on in the fall and winter months (controlled by a handheld remote). The location is primo - with easy access to the Greenway, which we use every day. There are many restaurants and breweries that are walkable at any time of the year. Additionally, there are music venues that are packed year-round with great bands, also within walkable distance. No matter if you want to relax, be outside and exercise, eat well, be in the heart of our art scene, or catch music regularly, this location can't be beaten.
