Adjacent to 10-acre conservation land with trails and wildlife, but minutes from all that downtown Portland has to offer. The apartment has its own parking area and entrance. Heat pumps in living room and bedroom for A/C and supplemental heat. (Not in photos yet) One bedroom, with queen size bed. Power strips on both sides of the bed; large closet; TV with cable & DVD player. Living room has queen size pull-out couch. Power strips on both sides. The kitchen has full size appliances, including gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator with bottom freezer with icemaker. There is a Keurig coffeemaker, a drip coffeemaker and toaster oven. It's fully equipped with knives, mixing bowls, pots, baking pans, hand mixer, bar items, lots of dishes and glasses, etc. There is a cooler, beach chairs and beach towels for your use. Dining table opens up to seat 4. Stack washer & dryer. New Rowenta iron and full-size ironing board. Full length mirror. Hardwood floors in living room, kitchen and bedroom; tile floor and tub area in bathroom. Private deck with grill, overlooking the woods. The whole apartment is for you, as well as a private deck and shared back yard. Private parking area right at the front door We love to meet our guests! However, our busy schedules don't always make that possible. We are available by text, phone or email, 24 hours a day. This unit is attached to our home so if there are any issues, we will be able to take care of them right away. We are happy to answer questions and make recommendations! Our property is in a quiet, family neighborhood. We are at the end of a dead-end street, adjacent to a 10 acre conservation land with trails. It's beautiful in all seasons! We are also close to the Back Cove Trail, which loops around Portland's Back Bay and connects with several other trails. Within walking distance- Monte's: Specialty Food Store featuring local and imported foods, Roman Pizza, sandwiches, salads, in-house bakery and much more. Tipo: A neighborhood spot featuring a creative and ever-changing menu of Italian-inspired plates. Sammy's Scoops: Ice cream- just under a mile away. Also very close: Big Sky Bread Company, Bird & Co., Woodford Food & Beverage, Veranda Noodle Bar, Veranda Thai, Otto Pizza, Great Lost Bear, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks. A grocery store with pharmacy is 2.5 miles away, and Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are also about the same distance. We are about 10 minutes from downtown. It's an easy drive, or you can take a cab or Uber, or the city bus which stops about 1/2 mile away. Or, it's a 3.5 mile bike ride. We are not considering any long-term rentals during the summer and fall.
