Charming 1 Bedroom walk-up apartment in the heart of sought-after Cobble Hill/Brooklyn Heights neighborhoods. This roughly 600 square foot apartment is on the third floor of a pre-war brownstone. Conveniently located steps from many major Subway lines, including access to the 4/5, 2/3, F, G, A/C, and R lines for convenient access to explore all parts of the city. A less than 10 minute walk to the water and fabulous Brooklyn Bridge Park. CitiBike dock located a block from the apartment. The space Charming features including large skylights, exposed wooden beams, solid wood plank floors, extensive built-in bookshelves, and exposed brick walls. There is a workspace/nook at the top of the stairs, as well as a spacious dining area within the kitchen which is a lovely space to eat or work. Queen size bed in the separated bedroom with ample storage space for clothes in a closet and dresser. There is an option to sleep another on the Living Room couch or provided inflatable mattress. Small bathroom, but less so by NYC standards, has been recently refurbished. Upon entering the apartment you will climb one more short set of stairs to access the main space. Guest access The apartment is accessed via a private entrance in an apartment building with 4 total units. There is not lift/elevator access and you will need to climb 4 flights of stairs. You will have access to the entire apartment and can come and go as you please. Other things to note The neighborhood is right across the river from Lower Manhattan (East and West Village, FiDi, Tribeca, Lower East Side, The Bowery and Chinatown, etc.) and serves as an amazing base for exploring that part of the city. Access to other parts of Brooklyn are also a snap and you can even ride the ferry 15 minutes to the Governor's Island green spaces (ferry can be accessed from Pier 6 - a mere ten minutes walking distance from the apartment).
