This charming home circa 1948 is conveniently located on a quiet family street within walking distance to several restaurants, coffee shops, live music and grocery store. Situated near the Lafayette/Walnut Creek border and 2 miles from the Bay Area Rapid Transit-(BART). 30 minute drive to San Francisco. The space This single-story house (1,200 sq feet) has a cottage vibe with all the ease of modern living. Private, cozy, and artfully appointed home includes access to enclosed front courtyard & backyard with tranquil amenities such as a cotton hammock, chaise lounges, adirondack chairs, futon & fountain water feature as well as 4 person jacuzzi and BBQ grill with plenty of space for outdoor dining (both front and back) set in a special garden oasis. Covered dining areas are suitable for rain or shine al fresco dining. Fully functioning kitchen with gas range and oven + microwave, dishwasher, and Keurig coffee maker. Equipped with all organic soap, dishwasher detergent, etc. Set on a spacious property with an expansive garden and plenty of driveway and off-street parking. California King bed in main bedroom (with TV), Queen bed in the back bedroom, and twin bed in 3rd bedroom/office. One full bathroom with a shower/bath combo. We provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash, as well as a blow dryer. The house is fully wired, so your visual/online needs are well taken care of: large screen TV with hi-definition premium services, and High speed Wi-Fi throughout the house. We provide a light breakfast upon request (muffins, bagels or the like) for your first morning here. We always have a variety of Keurig pods, selection of organic coffee, fresh organic 1/2 and 1/2 as well as an assortment of teas for your early rising pleasure. Fully stocked spice cabinet with cooking oils, etc. Washer and dryer access available (in garage). We do have chickens in the side yard, so if you'd like fresh eggs, they will be there for you each morning. During your stay, I can either have a neighbor feed them each morning, or leave food for you to put out for them! Guest access Driveway parking for comfortably parking 2 vehicles, short 5 minute walk to the restaurants and grocery store at the end of the street, and a 10 minute walk to the canal bike trail. Other things to note No parties, and no smoking inside the home. Do not use fireplace, as it is inoperable. Please keep to the number of guests on your reservation. For stays of more than 3 days, we would love if you could give our indoor plants an ice cube of water to keep them hydrated :)
