It’s on the ground floor and Hosts live on top, main floor. Shepherdstown 7 mi. C & O canal 1/3 mi. Antietam Battlefield 1/2mi The space Near mile marker 80 on C & O canal. Your own private 2 BR 1 BA Full kitchen suite on ONE LEVEL once you walk 3 steps down to your own private entrance .Canal 1/3 mile down the road and river access just beyond there. Green Tree Farm is 2 mi. Away. Full acre of beautiful country setting with amazing outdoor space for guests. Beautifully landscaped with plenty of privacy. The suite is VERY roomy (1200 sq.ft all on ONE LEVEL- no stairs once you’re inside) with bright and open floor plan and cozy and comfy modern furniture for a small group to gather and relax. You will walk 120ft along a hardscaped walkway down to the entrance to your suite with gardens to your left, right, and in front. Do you love birdwatching?? This is your spot!. Huge selection to listen and watch. The king bedroom opens into the spacious living room and allows for amazing view out into the gardens and C & O national park land right from your bed. The 2nd bedroom is enclosed but offers views outside with the door open . Enjoy your meal under the light filled Cherry tree with the fire pit right by your table. In your suite there is a 53 inch smart TV (with sound bar and subwoofer for music or TV) with lots of free channels and Chromecast. I want to do all I can to make your stay the best possible experience- so please just ask me if you need anything. 1 friendly dog on premises. Lots of cool vintage items for sale around the suite and in the large wardrobe as well many FREE items for guests like DVDs, CD’s, children’s books and more! Canal bikers can park bikes under the deck by suite door. Guest access You have the entire 1200 sq. Ft 2 BR 1 BA full kitchen and living room suite to yourselves and access to entire back yard. Other things to note Early check in or late check out $15 up to 1.5 hrs. If you need a super early (2-4 hrs) we will need to discuss time and associated charges. With PRIOR approval- we are very flexible and understand some events may need you to check in much earlier- just understand I have to arrange my day to accommodate these requests as well as guests checking out who may request late check out time. Guests with height over 6’3 will have to be careful with 75 in. bulkhead and 74 in. doorways in the back section of the suite by Bedroom 1 and bathroom. You will need to be able to walk 120ft around to the back of my house to go into your private entrance. This is a newly paved walkway from driveway to the suite entrance and has a slight incline. There are 4 steps down to the suite door. The entrance is under the deck so if you’re taller than 5’4 you will need to duck a little. See pictures of entrance. Trips for tips: for bikers/hikers of the C & O canal. If you need a ride to grocery store or restaurant (carry out or eat-in) in Sharpsburg or Shepherdstown area we can give you a lift if we are available and provided you let us know ahead of time so that we can plan accordingly.
