This bungalow is one of a total of 9 bungalows nestled on 2 acres in rural Arcadia. They are conveniently located just 2 blocks North of a restaurant, Thee Abbey Kitchen, an ice cream shop, shopping and some of Missouri's most popular state parks; Elephant Rocks (5 miles away) and Johnson Shut In's State Park (16 miles away). Also, visit the highest point in Missouri at Taum Sauk Mountain State Park! If you like history there is a Civil War battle field just 3 miles away. You get the entire house to yourself. There is a front porch with a porch swing. There is an outdoor swimming pool, pavilion, gas grill, picnic tables and fire pit with fire wood that is shared between the other 8 private bungalows on site. We are in the process of adding a pickle ball court. We live close by and are available if you need anything. There is a sports complex within walking distance that has a track, playground and hiking trails. Stouts Creek is also close by and has a nice swimming hole. We are close to the Amtrak station. We don't do a daily housekeeping, but if you need something please let us know.
