Guests say one of their favorite features is that the water is clear with a sandy bottom, and shallow for a long way out - perfect for floating or even putting your chair right in the water on hot days! Easy to keep an eye on young swimmers too. Our cottage is cozy, but appointend for comfort. We have everything you need for week-long stays, including a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, outdoor grill, fluffy towels, etc. The living room has several windows and a door right out onto the deck for splendid evening views. Rainy day? There is a TV and dvd player with plenty of classics, puzzles, toys for kids, etc. There’s also a pack n play for little ones, so you can travel light. Clark Lake offers multiple restaurants and is close to several golf courses, wineries, MIS, and the quaint town of Brooklyn. The cottage is steps away from a convenience store with ice cream, grocery items, and booze, and there is a great paddle board and bicycle rental venue on the lake. The cottage is on the Spirit Trail which offers a scenic walk or bike ride around the lake. In the fall, enjoy Meckleys Flavor Fruit Farms (orchard/winery), Cherry Creek Cellars, or terrific hiking trails in the McReady Preserve. Scenery and colors around the lake are beautiful and the cozy cabin is the perfect place to curl up with a book and a cup of coffee, sit by an evening bonfire, or play Corn hole with the provided set. The cottage is an excellent Winter escape too! Warm and cozy inside, with a maintained ice rink outside! Embrace the weather and come to skate or ice fish. Bring your boat! Clark Lake has a public boat launch, which renters can use to bring their boat into the lake and dock it right at the cottage. The nearby marina also offers boat rentals. Accessible via cell phone and happy to answer any questions or make suggestions! Clark Lake is one of the most beautiful and active lakes in the area. You’ll experience incredible sunrises and sunsets on a quiet, sandy part of the lake. Clark Lake offers multiple restaurants and some of them have outdoor bars for summer fun. Enjoy unique ice cream shops and paddle board rentals on the lakefront. Close to multiple golf courses, wineries, MIS, and the quaint town of Brooklyn. Our guests have loved the Spirit Trail, local hiking trails, renting bikes, and using the park around the corner. They particularly enjoyed taking advantage of the convenience store right up the street with ice cream, grocery items, drinks, toiletries, etc. Bring your boat! Clark Lake has a public boat launch, which renters can use to bring their boat into the lake and dock it right at the cottage. There are a couple Marinas that also rent boats (in advance). Parking is limited to two uncovered spots. If possible, consolidate your travel to two cars. There is a well-lit car pool lot up the street if you need to leave a car. No pets, please. We prefer guests capped at 6 adults, but please feel free to inquire about exceptions.
