The space My cottage is at the end of a long, little bit bumpy driveway. My rustic property is secluded and wildlife friendly. Birds, chipmunks, so fun to watch. My 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage is high up on the property, so that you feel like you’re in the tree tops. Ceilings are vaulted so it feels roomy, yet cozy. The deck wraps around the house and is partly covered by an overhanging roof. Part is set up for sunbathing. Perfect to sit in the shade, or watch a thunderstorm. You’re in the Hamptons, but are so secluded you could be almost anywhere. Guest access Elizabeth Morton’s Wildlife Preserve is less than a mile down the road. Free Parking and no need for a residential sticker. You can walk the trail down to the beach. Beautiful endless well marked Greenbelt Trails. 10 Minute ride to the Shelter island ferry. From Shelter island, another short ferry ride to Greenport and the whole North Fork wine country. Other things to note There are tons of Greenbelt trails to access by foot or bike. I have some vintage paper trail maps of the area.
