Not only is this space breathtaking, but its location is unbeatable! The space Note- a brand new game room has been added to the lower level in May 2025. This home is perfect if you’re looking for a more relaxed, off-the-beaten-path sort of mountain experience, as it's only 15 miles from the Cosby entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains. This lesser-known spot offers a serene escape and a fantastic way to enjoy the Park without the hustle and bustle of other entry points.. This home does not skimp on CHARM. From the moment you walk into our thoughtfully decorated chalet, we want you to feel at home. This all starts with how we set up our beds to maximize the space. The home is a 3/2 equipped with a king and two queen beds. Additionally, we've converted the den into a game room we equipped with three arcade games, an air hockey table and a foosball table (photos coming summer 2025). Please keep in mind that this game room must be walked through in order to enter the two downstairs bedrooms, as it's located at the base of the staircase that leads downstairs. If you want to "work from home," we've got you covered there too with our high-speed 200 mbps internet. Or completely disconnect by having a coffee, cocktail or ice cold cerveza on one of two porches. Sure, eating at Gatlinburg's best restaurants is fun. But sometimes we all need a nice home-cooked meal, right? That's why our kitchen is stocked with all the essentials you'll need to cook you and your family a nice dinner. There are 2 TVs- one in the living room and one in the game room. While we don't offer cable, both TVs are equipped with streaming capabilities for watching all your guilty pleasures. So feel free to BYOL (bring your own login) and log in to any service you're subscribed to. While the home is technically equipped to host 7 people, we think the perfect group size is 5-6. We're happy to host all 7, but keep in mind it is a little cozier as it's a 1500 square foot home and somebody would most likely be sleeping on the sofa, unless you can fit three people in the king. We also provide a pack 'n play for anyone traveling with a kiddo :) Guest access But wait, there's more! When you book a stay in our home, you'll get access to two community pools (open from Memorial Day to Labor Day) and a tennis court—all located in the Cobbly Nob community. On top of that, we have a jacuzzi outside on the covered patio where you can sit and relax with your friends and family. PLEASE make sure to put the cover back on after each use. Other things to note IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ Fireplace decorative ONLY. We take the sanitation and cleaning procedures of our home very seriously. All linens are laundered with every new stay, and all commonly touched surfaces and objects are sanitized with every clean. The house is cute and cozy but please keep in mind that this chalet is older and there are areas where its age shows. Please do not roast us in your review because some of the doors are hard to open. We believe we are priced fairly and appropriately, so if you require something super high end and modern, this is not your place. The grill is not intended for guest use. We do not list it as an amenity. Thank you for your cooperation. AWD or 4x4 vehicles are advised and strongly encouraged during the winter season, as we do have what would be considered a steep driveway, especially to novice mountain drivers. We do not refund based on weather or snowfall. You'll need to be able to climb up ~30 stairs to access the home. While the Cobbly Nob resort offers multiple small pools, they are generally open seasonally starting in summertime. The closest is the Sunshine Pool. Please keep in mind that we run on septic. So please do not flush ANYTHING that's not toilet paper. In an effort to secure the premises, we've installed a Ring floodlight at the front of the home. The neighborhood is very safe, but this helps us keep an eye on the property :) Occasionally, you may see Mama Bear and her cubs. While they are adorable, please do not touch or go near them. And while they are so cute and look hungry, don't feed them, or leave any food or trash in your car. Again, DO NOT LEAVE FOOD IN YOUR CAR OR THEY COULD BREAK IN. If you give Ms. Berenstain and her kids some time, they will migrate off the land :) It is HIGHLY advisable that you download an Offline Map of the Gatlinburg area on your Maps app. Here's how you do it: 1) Open Maps and search Gatlinburg. 2) Tap the word "Gatlinburg" on the bottom of the screen and this will expand the bottom half of the screen. 3) On the top right, you will see three dots. Tap this button and select "Download offline map." 4) Zoom out to download the entire Gatlinburg region. Make sure to capture everything between Pigeon Forge and Cosby.
