Beautiful Rittenhouse Home Local Host 4 bedrooms
Description
This bright, airy town home on the Philadelphia historical registry and in the desirable Rittenhouse Sq. Neighborhood. We've aimed to furnish the house for a comfortable stay while maintaining its charm and original details. The house has fresh sheets and towels. Please read description and rules carefully before booking. This is an older house. The space First floor -- living room with high ceilings eat-in kitchen and French doors to a small private patio. Second floor - Two bedrooms and one hall bath. The two bedrooms are separated by a cozy tiny study with both bedroom having access via glass doors to the study. The study does not lock. The bathroom is at the beginning of the hallway on the second floor. Third Floor -- Two bedrooms one bath. The front bedroom has ensuite access to the bathroom. The back bedroom has hall access to the bathroom. The house has central air and hardwood floors throughout. We purchased this home after enjoying hosting a smaller house nearby that is my parents' primary home when they are in the United States. We hope you will enjoy your stay in this new house during your visit to Philadelphia. Guest access You will the entire house to yourself, but the fireplaces and balconies are not for guests' use. For your safety, we do not allow the use of the balconies, however they are operational in the case of an emergency. Other things to note This house is on the less busy residential end of a busy street. It is located between Walnut and Chestnut Street in Rittenhouse Square. Please note while we clean the house carefully before your arrival, occasionally pests come into the house when the weather is warm or cold. We have set traps and plugged entry points, but this older house is not airtight. The house has two different thermostats with two systems. The one in the kitchen only controls the heat. The one on the third floor controls both heat and air conditioning. In the warmer months, please use the third floor thermostat and make sure the kitchen thermostat stays off. If the kitchen thermostat is on, the house will never be cool as it fights with the third floor system and wastes energy. In the colder months, please use the kitchen thermostat and make sure the system on the third floor is turned off. If the third floor thermostat is on air conditioning the house will never be warm as it fights with the kitchen's system and wastes energy. Registration Details 949308
