Description
Mission meets Scandinavian in this open concept hideaway located in Alta Vista, one of the oldest neighborhoods in San Antonio. Wake to a suprisingly secluded environment for our location while light tip-toes in through the sky pointed windows. **Our place is more often than not surprisingly quiet for the location. However, there are train tracks nearby that may disturb a light sleeper.** The space The cottage is located behind our house and faces the opposite direction. You’ll have a private outdoor space not shared with the main house. You'll have designated off-street parking on the left side of our house deep enough for three cars. On that same side, you'll have a key to the gate and access to the walkway back. You'll be three miles from the Pearl where you can hear the best of S.A. Jazz, relax on the green, eat at the food court or imbibe at several bars including Hotel Emma's ultra elegant The Sternewirth. We're also three miles from central downtown. We're located in a designated quiet zone and nestled between Trinity University, University of the Incarnate Word, and San Antonio College. We're also a straight shot from Fort Sam Houston. Alta Vista shares the second oldest park in the united states, San Pedro Park, located on land reserved for public use by the Spanish Government in the 18th century and before that it was visited by natives and wildlife for thousands of years. Guest access The entire building/space is private and designated for the guest. If interested, upon request guests may explore or tour all of the property and my studio which is located adjacent to the guest house. Registration details STR-22-13501099
