Close to miles of sandy beaches, we are 1.5 miles north of the center of Ogunquit, situated along the Ogunquit River with quiet, comfortable outdoor sitting areas where you can enjoy the sounds of the running water and occasional wildlife. After a long day at the ocean or shopping, come back to the Towne Lyne Motel to unwind and relax by the river! We encourage you to bring your morning coffee, tea, or evening wine and appetizers outside to enjoy our peaceful setting. You will be just as relaxed inside our rooms as well. All rooms include a refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, flat screen TV, two glider rockers, individual climate control, complimentary Wi-Fi, and complimentary local & long distance calls (U.S. and Canada). Each unit allows a parking space for one car. Please note: We do not have a pool, but the ocean is nearby! Beautiful sandy beaches along the Southern Maine coast await you when you stay at the Towne Lyne Motel in Ogunquit, Maine. It’s an easy walk to the Footbridge Beach or ride the trolley to the Ogunquit Beach. We are also near Moody Beach, Wells Beach, Drakes Island Beach, and Crescent Beach. Seacoast Attractions in the area include a visit to picturesque Perkins Cove, a pleasant walk on the Marginal Way overlooking the ocean, boat cruises, The famed Nubble Lighthouse, Ogunquit Playhouse and Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge. We are located on Route 1 with beaches, shopping, and dining just a short walk, drive or trolley ride away. Ogunquit offers a variety of fun besides the beach. Enjoy biking, kayaking, golfing, antiquing, deep sea fishing, boat cruises, art galleries, bird watching, a show at the famed Ogunquit Playhouse, visit lighthouses or walk on the beautiful Marginal Way overlooking the ocean. If you want a good view of the coast line (Nubble Lighthouse) and the Presidential mountain range in New Hampshire, then get to Mount Agamenticus which is close by in York. Don’t forget to bring a good pair of binoculars . If conditions are right, you can see the skyline in Boston!
