The space This first floor apartment unit is the only unit offered as a short term 31 day minimum rental in this 6 unit apartment building, designed primarily for adult guests and may consider children over age 12. The other 5 units are occupied by full time residents that have been carefully chosen to assure that the tenants will get along well with each other. The house rules are the same for our short term tenants as for the full time residents to avoid confusion. House rules are provided for you in a binder with other information to help you enjoy your stay with us......ways to get to places to see :o) Train, BART, Airport etc. everything you need for getting around the Bay Area is very close by. At this time NO PETS including ESA and Service animals are allowed due to severe allergies as the owner does tay in the unit between guests to get it ready for the next guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to avoid eating out, or ordering in all the time!! ....dishes, glassware, silverware, microwave, cookware, baking pans, hand mixer, toaster, basic spices, salt, pepper, sugar, starter coffee, and coffee maker....and a selection of pre-packaged snacks if you arrive a "little hungry" and can't get to the market before you arrive... There is often a surprise waiting for you in the refrigerator :o) Enjoy the surprise as a gift from me, to thank you for being my guest/s. Amenities include high speed internet. This is a "lap-top friendly" space that includes a desk in the Master Bedroom, and a kitchen table work space for remote workers. Enjoy the 65" flat screen TV. ** Basic Cable is provided. Channels 2-28, or 300-328....Other programing is available via the Smart TV remote **you will need to sign in using your own access codes for any paid programing, there are also many free Smart TV program offerings. All utilities are paid by the owner, Gas, Electric, Water. During stays over 30 days, additional monthly house cleaning service is required at NO CHARGE to you, as it helps keep the place sanitized and well kept. I will set that up for you at a convenient time for you. Starter laundry soap and various cleaning supplies are provided for you. There is a coin operated washer and dryer on site, and there are two laundry-mats close by if that is what you prefer. AT this time NO PETS are allowed due to severe allergies as the owner does stay in the unit between guests to get it ready for the next guest. That includes ESA and Service Animals. Although we do not have air-conditioning, this first floor apartment is on the shady side of the building and stays very cool even during warmer days in the Bay Area. We have provided an oscillating fan for better air circulation during those warmer days.....I am sure you will be very comfortable. Summer temperatures in San Bruno rarely exceed 75 degrees, and the natural coastal fog cools in the evenings. More details are outlined in the welcome binder, including house rules for you to follow during your stay at the "Lucky Gem" Apartment. Make sure to note that NO SMOKING is allowed inside the unit, or anywhere else on the entire property. This does mean that NO SMOKING is allowed in your private patio area, or outside the apartment, in the private driveway, or carport space. Guest access I am using this space to emphasize that the private driveway is relatively narrow, so if you are driving a very large vehicle, park close to the sidewalk at the entrance to the driveway so you can exit your vehicle easily :o) The other areas you have access to is the shared washer and dryer, garbage room and mailbox in the adjacent carport serving other tenants. Other things to note As a guest staying over 31 days the following paragraph does not apply....my minimum stay is 31 days at this time to avoid the city occupancy taxes and save my guests money!! I am sorry that I can't offer the apartment for shorter stays than 31 days. For stays less than 31 days....The City of San Bruno is currently collecting a 14 percent T.O.T. Hotel Tax that is set this time, but will add an additional cost to your stay in San Bruno. The 14 percent tax is based on the total per night charges. The cleaning fee of $150.00, and will be added to your ABB costs. This is consistent with other nearby cities in the Bay Area.
