McIllvaine Room - Black Squirrel INN

Located on the 2nd floor and full of beautiful morning light, the McIllvaine Room has a queen sized bed and private bathroom with walk in shower. The space This updated 1880’s Victorian has been operating as an INN since 1997. Each room is beautifully decorated and features a private ensuite bath, whole house AC, WiFi, free coffee/tea. Located just a minutes from the College of Wooster campus and fabulous downtown Wooster or an easy day trip to Ohio's Amish County. This is an old house and is not necessarily handicap accessible. Please contact host if you have special needs... we will do our best to accommodate everyone (including kids & pets)! Guest access In addition to your room, guests may use common areas of the INN including kitchen (fridge, microwave), sitting rooms, & porch/patio areas. Spaces may be shared with other guests. Access to laundry & additional cooking upon request. Other things to note ~This is a 5-room inn. All rooms have private bath and lock. Guests share common areas & entry. Please be considerate of other guests who may be present during your stay. ~All reservations can be cancelled or rescheduled if your plans should need to change for any reason. ~The room is YOURS! We do not enter rooms unless it is requested by guests. Please get in touch if you need any items, or service, during your stay. ~We no longer offer breakfasts. Please check out some of our great local establishments! (See guidebook for some favorites.) The downtown area is a 15 min walk or a 2 min drive with easy parking. You are also more than welcome to bring in snacks or get take-out to enjoy at the INN. Feel free to use dishes, fridge, and microwave in the kitchen (please get in touch if you would like to use the stove/oven). Any used dishes can just be left on the counter near the sink. ~If you should have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
