Quiet Lake home 3 mi. from Camden!

A beautiful and simple open-layout with gorgeous views of the water from large windows on main floor and bedrooms. Great kitchen space for cooking and socializing. All essentials and amenities included. Our guests love our home! The space This wonderful post and beam home was built in 2005. It has great open spaces with cathedral ceilings upstairs. The house isn’t too big (1500 sq ft), so it’s not overwhelming or overpriced! It’s just simple vacation living. The house is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. There are two bedrooms upstairs (approximately 13 x 15 ft each) with tall ceilings and large windows for beautiful views of the lake. There is an open area that is suitable as a bedroom with a bed on the upstairs landing. Amenities include wifi, a kitchen fully stocked with plates, utensils, pots, pans, etc. washer/dryer, off-street parking (uncovered driveway). The downstairs area is an open space containing the kitchen, dining room, and living room. There is a great kitchen with a huge peninsula granite countertop separating the kitchen from the dining room, an area perfect for socializing while cooking. Nearby activities include hiking, swimming, canoeing, and rowing right out the back door (row boat, canoe, and adult life jackets included). The house is a 5 minute drive or taxicab ride from downtown Camden’s many shops and restaurants, or a 15 minute drive to downtown Rockland or Lincolnville. Just a half mile from the Mighty Camden Snow Bowl/skiing and National Toboggan Championships in the winter. In the summer, this is a peaceful home away from the hustle and bustle of Camden, yet it’s only a 5 minute drive away. Easy-going and helpful host. Coffee and tea are included. Extra mattresses are available. I do own a small dog, but I am allergic to some breeds, so please check with me before bringing pets. Guest access Lake access with a canoe. On site laundry. Full kitchen. No shared areas - the renter has access to entire house and property. Other things to note Camden is an amazing destination for all ages. It's also a great location from which to explore the area, with easy drives to Acadia National Park and Popham Beach, or easy drive and ferry to Monhegan/North Haven/Vinalhaven Islands.
