Close to NYC in Westchester County, quaint Hudson River towns, hiking, biking trails. Cozy sanctuary away from home, light filled space filled w/warmth and comfort. We are at the end of a small woodsy lane, feels like Vermont in Westchester. The forest my backyard, but minutes from coffee shops, restaurants and incredible hiking. The space I have a charming cottage style house 45 minute from NYC and nestled in the woods, close to Hudson River and Blue Mountain Reservation for hiking and biking. This rental is for one bedroom with a comfy double bed with private bath. Very peaceful location on a small lane, feels like Vermont in Westchester. Cute towns of Croton on Hudson and Peekskill are a quick 5-7 minute drive to enjoy coffee houses, music venues, craft beer, river walks, great restaurants. 2 easy access Metro North Stations take you right along the river for the most glorious ride into NYC. Will be happy to lend you my Whitney Museum pass for the day. I enjoy meeting people from all over. I use Airbnb when I travel. I am a decorative artist, my work sells in galleries and museums around the country. I'm often traveling and you may have the house to yourself! Lovely towns of Cold Spring and Garrison to the north. I am technically right over the Croton on Hudson city line but an easier reference point that Cortlandt Manor which stretches from Croton on Hudson and all the way to Garrison. I am located about 50 minutes from NYC by train. Easy access over the Henry Hudson Bridge and up the Saw Mill River Parkway. You will have access to the kitchen, lovely back deck and covered front porch. Light cooking. Coffee and tea provided. There is a private full bath directly across from the bedroom. There is free internet and cable. A 15-20 minute drive to the Garrison Institute for those attending programs there who want a more spacious and private home setting.
