W Austin long term - quiet workspace with garage

Quiet 700 s.f. separate residence in SW Austin atop a detached garage 200' away from main house. Private studio is ideal for remote work with dual 27" monitors, an adjustable sit/stand desk and two internet providers. Includes both garage and driveway parking. Deck has amazing eastern views from a canyon side in a wooded area near Lakeway. 7 minutes to Lake Travis and 30 minutes to downtown. Minimum stay is generally 5 days, message us for possible exceptions or for multi-month discounts. The space Our apartment is ideal for a couple's getaway, a quiet place for an extended work stay or a great starting point to explore Lake Travis, Austin and the Texas Hill Country. The apartment is the second story of our detached garage about 200 feet up the canyon side from our home, so it is quiet and very private. The apartment entry has a deck with amazing east views, two deck chairs and enough room for a yoga mat. It is a two room studio. The main room is an open kitchen/living/bedroom and a private bathroom with full bath, vanity and shower. Guests have full garage access for laundry, single car parking and a bit of extra storage for bikes or other equipment. The kitchen has a microwave, toaster, toaster oven (Pizza) , basic utensils and both drip and Keurig coffee makers, but does not have a stove-top or regular oven. The living area features a recliner, a convertible queen sofa bed and a 43 inch TV with enhanced cable with HBO and Showtime. The bedroom has a new queen bed with a variety of blankets and pillows. The office area has a fully adjustable sit/stand desk, office chair, dual 27" monitors and high speed broadband internet access with a primary and backup provider. Modem is on the desk to allow Wi-Fi or direct ethernet plug in access. The space sits high on the canyon and has excellent views across the canyon and east toward Austin. We travel a great deal and we created this space to be the kind of place we would stay. If you are relocating to Austin and book for an few weeks or more, we also have some garage storage available for bikes, sports equipment or personal items. We both work from home, so we have two internet providers in case of an outage. We are often available to assist our solo guests with deliveries, dropping cars for maintenance, or other issues that are complicated for one person, but simple with a bit of help. Guest access You have access to the entire space via keypad lock- code that is changed for every guest. The garage is accessed via the Q garage app. We allow dogs on a case by case basis. They must be house broken and they must stay in a crate if their human is away and not in the apartment. We have a yard with a low fence for an exercise space and a great quiet neighborhood for dog walking. We are dog people, so we completely understand that the A/C may need to be left on if you have to leave your dog in a crate in the apartment. Other things to note The apartment door is 20 feet up a stairway, so please consider while booking. The space is ideal for 2 people but with the sofa bed can accommodate 4, but would be a tight fit.
